Delmia ProDELMIA/SAFEWORK Link combines the superior human modeling capabilities of SAFEWORK® Pro™ with the best-in-class simulation solutions from DELMIA to provide total design lifecycle human modeling. Users can generate detailed human models in SAFEWORK®, seamlessly integrate them as a replacement for the ENVISION/ERGO™ human model, and then exploit the "task-oriented" features of ENVISION ® and IGRIP ®. As a result, designers can now address all issues associated with human fit, form and function – such as anthropometry, postural analysis, comfort, human performance and task performance – in the context of a single design environment.

DELMIA/SAFEWORK® permits users to leverage the powerful human simulation capabilities of ENVISION/ERGO such:

  • NIOSH
  • MTM
  • GARG Energy Expenditure
  • Weight Limit, and Maximum Lifting/Lowering Weight.
  • Predict human performance
  • Conform to Health and Safety Standards

This technology match permits users to comprehensively analyze human interaction manufacturing simulation entities such as robots, devices and processes.

The DELMIA/SAFEWORK® Link creates manikins that have the geometry, link lengths and joint centers of rotations of the SAFEWORK manikin, but Direct and Inverse Kinematics in the DELMIA ERGO format, thereby negating the requirement to redesign any task simulations already created within ENVISION or IGRIP.
Use Case Scenarios:
User exports standard SAE manikins at 5th, 50th and 95th percentile Male and Female size from SAFEWORK® to ENVISION or IGRIP.

User creates boundary manikins in
SAFEWORK® and imports them into ENVISION/IGRIP for advanced accommodation analysis.
User creates Simulation in DELMIA environment with imported model from DELMIA/SAFEWORK®. If user desires to modify/edit DELMIA/SAFEWORK® model, user switches back to DELMIA/SAFEWORK® to modify/edit manikin. User re-exports boundary or other manikins from DELMIA/SAFEWORK® into ENVISION or IGRIP
