Human Builder Option

Upon user input of appropriate critical design variables, the DIVISION SAFEWORK® Manikin Human Builder Option multinormal statistical algorithm automatically adjusts all other anthropometry variables to create manikins that exist within the target population. A unique "boundary" manikin technique ensures designers accommodate their entire target population using a minimum number of manikin. The "boundary" manikins can be specifically created according to the user's needs or selected from established libraries.

Ergonomic Analysis Tools

DIVISION SAFEWORK® Manikin includes analysis tools such as Upper Limb Reach Envelopes, Balance Equation, NIOSH 1981 and NIOSH 1991 equation, as well as the Snook Lift/lower, Push/Pull and Carry algorithms. Inputting initial and final postures, combined with task criteria such as weight of object, frequency of lift, etc, permit the user to call each tool individually and apply the analysis of the posture to determine the Action Limit, Recommended Weight Limit, Maximum lift/lower weight, etc.

Postural Analysis

It is now possible to automatically evaluate a given posture according to several criteria such as force, comfort, fatigue and more. Using a comprehensive diagram output (colour bars), the user can effectively identify problematic posture and correct it. Moreover, the know-how capabilities of SAFEWORK® is not limited to it's internal database. Any recent state-of-the-art researches can be effortlessly integrated into SAFEWORK® and save as a libraries.

Vision Analysis

Gaining an understanding of what an operator or maintainer would "see" in a task environment is a fundamental benefit of human modeling. The DIVISION SAFEWORK® Manikin Vision Analyses, based on the established NASA 3000 standard, contains an accurate vision behavior model to imitate the realistic movement of the human eyes so that "what the manikin sees, the operator sees…" Four types of vision simulation are provided: binocular, ambinocular, monocular left and monocular right. Visual characteristics are displayed as peripheral ones, central cones, blind spot cones and central spot cones that permits the user to gain an insight into the manikin’s view. DIVISION SAFEWORK® Manikin has been specifically designed to ensure your designs conform to all relevant vision standards.
